Thanks Duncan, if it ended last weekend it probably was the one. Have you seen many coke bottle harness jacks? I've looked at a lot of pictures and have not found another yet.

Well, I thought I did!! I've either misplaced it, or I am mistaken, and I don't!! Where is my personal assistant when I need Him/Her!!

Found another oddball HJ! This Waterville Powderhorn HJ is interesting!
It has a slim clip (muskrat?) blade, and a simple flat-faced punch with a radiused pile side. Cell handle seems OK to date!!

I think this Pritzlaff Hardware is pretty unusual for a harness jack, coke bottle stabber jack, unusual grind to the spear main. Nice size 3 3/4". very nice wood, think cocobolo, very faint etch that I can't make out. No idea who made it.

Nice Dover Mike, I had such a bad experience from one of those - probably the most painful of all ( and..like most of us...I have had quite a few painful episodes ) from the amazingly fine and effective Punch of that lill' fella! But man...you cant help but like 'em eh!

Charlie - Oh man...yes...my very first I have seen, a Tooth Pick HJ!
That Punch!.....( remember this beautiful knife Charlie? - just Wow! )

I just LOVE that Waterville my friend, but I love this one better - given to me by a great friend and Mentor, and all round great Human Being... this HJ I will never ever part with but hope dearly when I leave this place to my next adventure...that this amazing old piece survives its next journey to a curator who will fall in love with this Fantastic Old Knife like I have..

After reviewing this thread, page 47 specifically... would an educated guess be that Utica made this harness jack for Axel Nilsson Swedish Steel?

I can't say with any certainty but it sure is spot on with Duncan's Utica on pg 47 beautiful HJ
