LETS SEE THOSE MAGNIFICENT HARNESS JACKS

Here’s a picture of the pile side. Not sure but I think the punch is an Alvord. I didn’t even know about the Empire Knife Company. I read they made 800 patterns. I have been enjoying all the HJ pics especially the C. C. Rider.

Jason's punch looks like one Tony Bose has made a few times!!

Here you go, Jack!! William told me they changed their forging method a bit!! Some of the variances are visible!!View attachment 2277756View attachment 2277757
Scanning these punches has spurred me to do a function test on them!!
Coming up later!!!

Sure is a great looking punch on the 86's. Sucker is sharp too.

Looks like Iris isn’t the only pup who has great taste in knives! Agreed. Pits, amstaff’s, they are incredible, sweet, loyal, loving dogs. I love my girl!

Almost all my traditional knives the first time I used them was to cut up an apple for Iris.

Charlie- Wow- that Case is in outstanding condition- it's good to feast the hungry eyes on the HJ6 Teamsters Source of inspiration! Just look at that Main Blades shape- the super clean line from the Spine to the tip - it has a slight curve and so so fine! - I guess when Case were at their best Charlie?

Thank you for that post kind Sir.

Please forgive the well used photo but there's a very nice and rare HJ6 in this photo- a treasure to say the least - a gift from the Heart that is close to the Heart.

I see that Ivory mistakenly ended upin NZ🤔😁;)

Paul and Charlie, I am lucky to have that one I agree - and always when I see this Harness Jack Knife - I try to take it in, its like your first breath of Air after struggling in Water- can't quite get enough of it!
Its a beautiful feeling of luckiness, and sorry if I sound stupid trying to convey how I feel- but this is true, I feel this every time I go through my knives!

Rendezvous - GEC:
I am also very lucky to have come home with some of the Knives from the Titusville trip, to this day I still have blackouts and need on going treatment for the sever concussion I received whilst politely standing waiting at the GEC counter during the Rendezvous, giving way off course to all thos eager to get to the counter, patiently knowing that I will be lucky enough to view them soon.

All I remember is reaching for a knife to look at then ............black ........ Dave Gentry was there to witness the assault when Paul Hilborn blindsided me from behind, if he had only asked - I would have given way to him!
So what Knives I have- I feel so lucky to have survived and live to tell the tale of how some of these awesome Knives came into my care.

🤣

i dont want to know what happened in that cross creek room but i remember now when you asked for some paracetamol... 🤣🤣🤣

lol - Jack, I can't say what happened in that room - but I will never be the same.

I simply had no choice but to enter the bathroom because of the blood curdling screaming when Paul was in the shower, I'm still baffled to this day 🤔 Paul must have slipped in the Shower and the Shampoo Bottle got........ well lets avoid the details, but I cannot unsee what I have seen, when you help a friend out like that - you KNOW you are friends for life!

🤣
