Lets see those Scandi grind knives.

I did the handle. The blade is one of the progressive tempered Lauri's.

Here's a Puronvarsi I did

You did an amazing job! How does it feel in the hand?

Birch bark handles feel silky and grippy at the same time. They are also warm, no matter the temperature outside and, beeing full of resin, are almost neutral to shrinking, getting damaged with moisture ect.

OOOps, I meant the question to the original knife I was asking about. The Puukko with the Micarta handles, my mistake. Frederick80, I agree with you, I had a knife very simular to that one, liked it, but sold it. I will get another.

Excellent. Euro.

Kamagong, those are bee-yoo-tee-full!! I especially love the top one, very nice.

Thanks. The craftsmanship of the Kallioniemi is absolutely top notch; the design and execution is all you could ask for in a custom. Still, I think I favor the Tuominen. IMO it's a better all-around knife. The handle is a bit more hand filling. The blade is also thicker and more robust, without compromising cutting ability. And the birch bark is awesome, it almost feels like leather.

Here's an oldie from our relatives in Norway that they gave to my brother back in the 50's. He gave it to me last year. Beautiful thing.

Definitely not a Mora then, as Mora is a locality in Sweden. But it is a beautiful knife.
