Let's see your Becker bags

How many folks did Matt sell that knife to?

He was off his game* and only sold it to two. I found out when I got home that Tankerwolf had bought it too. :D

*completely wasted

Actually remembered to take pics today!

This is getting out of hand...
First up - 5.11 Rush 24 & 72, along with Maxpedition Vulture II. I've carried the 24 the most, but the 72 gets its fair share. The Maxped, on the other hand, got carried around the neighborhood once with a light load. It deserves better; but I keep grabbing the Rush 24. (I should probably just stock it up, so it's ready to go when I am...but how many full packs does a guy need?

Next are a Blackhawk 3 day assault pack, Blackhawk Patrol Pack, and London Bridge 3 day assault pack
The Blackhawk and LBT 3 day packs are relatively new - this being the first time they've even been outside. (The LBT was a well intended gift that arrived the same week as the Blackhawk.)

My EDC pack, and the Kelty MAP I purchased as its replacement. I finally started to load up the Kelty last week, planning its debut for an out of town conference. Unfortunately, while it could hold everything I want to carry, I find it lacks the organization I'm used to for day to day use. It went back to the storage room, sad and dejected.

Group shot

The sad thing is that I'll probably be purchasing another pack for EDC use (but not until absolutely necessary. I've got 3 great, brand new packs that just don't offer the organization to which I've become accustomed...and a few that are more tactical looking than I prefer for day to day use (one of which is also rather large for that purpose). I've been telling myself that I should set a few free, and I probably will one day.

Love my Kelty MAP. Hell of a collection you have there.

I know - its popularity among some of the Beckerheads is how I found it. That blue pack is just set up perfectly for my day to day - decent sized main compartment, the rear compartment will hold my 17" laptop and cooling pad/base (though I don't usually carry it) and the front is great for accessories and small gear. Then there are the two zippered front pockets, 2 zippered side pockets, the mesh side stuff pockets, and the stuff section in the front. I can carry everything I need for the day, and be able to get my hands on things quickly and easily because of the way the pack is divided.
If it weren't for all the MOLLE, I'd probably make the Rush 24 my EDC;...but then what would I do with my pouches??
Realistically, the gf's son is still talking about going into the USAF - if he gets there, I'll probably offer him one of the ones I don't use...and think more seriously about parting with a couple of the others.

Grey Ghost Lightweight Assault Pack is my main bag. I could get many weeks in the woods out of this kit (~25lbs).

I also have a Becker Field Bag for when I take day hikes with the lady.

Both products are made in the U.S., very heavy duty, and I can see each of them lasting a lifetime.

i gotta get one of those horde patches mathias...where you get yours at? or i want one that just says "Barrens Chat" or "Crossroads Combat" with the horde insignia

but here is my overnight pack (camelback M.U.L.E. max gear) with my 7/13 combo and my critter getter

one of my first hydration bag is a camelbak hawg which i still have it thou it has not seen any action in years, somehow i will still keep it. nothing beats their water bladder.

as for the horde patch, i found it in a small corner hidden away in Singapore couple of years back. I have not seen it around since then. I actually have both the hordes and alliance but of cos, the horde is always closer to heart. not sure if anyone else still sells them online.

was last playing on blackrock before my account got hacked

The blackhawk's phoenix ultralight weight is my other fave .. i have the normal phoenix too.

yea i was looking at those SOG packs at the wall store and they look pretty good for the price im thinking about picking up the barrage i think it is called felt real nice and for 45 bucks seems like a hell of a deal.

I know the Fieldline and SOG backpacks are more or less just clones of the 5.11 packs. But it's still hard passing them up, while saving up for a genuine 5.11 pack.

Among so many brands, i will definitely recommend blackhawk, 5.11 and Maxpedition/Magforce. At least in states, your will certainly get more choices of brands then us here.
