My GGG Lightweight Assault pack was earning its keep last week.

From day hikes in the mountains...

...to kayaking, hiking along the lake and general touristy crap duty...

...all the way to carry-on and airport duty. This poor bag was getting a workout.

Nice looking pack.

hopefully soon, pix of a Becker Bag in Iceland...

I have 3 bags I use, surprisingly none of them have Molle fields which seems to be a standard in the knife community, oh well:

My BOB I keep in the car, an Elite Survival Systems Smokescreen bag with one reversible strap and no Molle capability so it fits in anywhere I go, and still has enough room and organizers inside that I can stash all I need inside.

My small overnight backpack is a Klymit Motion 35, a bag with an airframe and enough space in it for a weekend trip away from civilization.

My old bag I've used for 2 years for all backpack trips I went on is an REI Crestrail 48, I fill it every time I use it, but it still manages to be comfortable to use and carry.

Nice looking pack.
Thanks. I really like it, but it has its limits, especially when toted around on a 10mi hike at 7,000' above sea level (I reside somewhere around 820'). The lack of ventilation leaves my back soaking wet in warmer temperatures. I forgive it because the bag wasn't necessarily designed with that in mind. It's made to clip onto the back of body armor. I love that it is lightweight with no frills.... Well, that and it is a good looking little bag.

There's nothing wrong with that.

This is a pretty interesting looking pack! I like the idea of the airframe and how you can adjust the pressure depending on the support needed.

I like it so far, it's still the newest bag I have so I have yet to take it on a full overnight trip, but walking around on trails and such with a full load feels pretty good as the airframe is flexible enough that the bag never feels too stiff.

I know this is an old thread but I like it. I just picked up a 5.11 rush 72 and a MOAB 10 in storm grey. What a great set up. I love the MOAB 10 single strap setup and very. Ice that they can be stacked together if needed.

Np pics in the "Let's see your Becker bags"?

A few quick shots just got them yesterday so still need to try them out.

The 72 on the left and the 10 on the right. The single strap of the 10 is very comfortable I changed mine to left side carry as I find that more comfortable.

The last pic is them attached with the tier system.

Very happy with these and they are readily available. Would still love a true Becker bag.

The only negative I see so far was mentioned earlier they are heavy!

This is my Kelty Map that I picked up in 2006. Great pack that served me well in Iraq after my old LBT 3day assault pack bit the dust. It has taken a while to finally get all the Iraqi moon dust out of it. Very comfortable for a couple days out.

This is my current bag, upgraded from my REI bag to a Kelty and so far it's an improvement. The straps are a bit narrow around the neck area but that doesn't affect me very much, and the rest of the strapping is perfectly set up.

Love my MAP.

I saw this thread so thought I would add a photo of my pack
It is a Becker large patrol pack with a BK 9 in the sleeve behind the pouch.
The previous owner of this pack had the shoulder straps modified here in Aus by "Wilderness Equipment"
It is a nice pack

I thought I would add a photo of one of my Spec Ops packs. It is the EDC version of the T.H.E pack. It has a BK 24 on it.
Both are very nice products.

Definitely time to bump this one up. A worthy thread, that needs more photos.
