:eek:SWEET!!
I love those clear scales.
440C is iffy, but rust-resistance is my main concern anyways. Therefore, I would be fine. :D

440C ain't an issue for this one. It has a primary bevel but no secondary bevel - to avoid having people using the demo knife accidentally slicing themselves. :D If you actually want to do more than open letters, you would't be fine. :D

give me a few minutes and I'll have it able to slice anyone for just looking at it. Why haven't you sharpened it?

Because then it wouldn't be a dealer demo. ;) A couple of other reasons: (1) the scales wouldn't survive a week of EDC (check the cracks around the pivot) and (2) it is quite possible that the blade was not heat treated with regular production blades.

where do you guys get custom scales for the mini-grips?

My current favorite knife, the scales are contoured, bead blasted carbon fiber micarta from cuscadi. Also the backspacer is glow in the dark blue...

(sorry about the crappy cell phone pic...)

Makes sense, i dont really know if I'd want to carry a clear plastic knife anyway...still very cool none the less.

UGGGGHHH!!! 940's EVERYWHERE!
I want one bad. Thats just too much money for me to spend right now.
I want someone to tell me that they are horrible knives just so i dont want one anymore.
:D

Dude, just for the purple anodized spacer alone, how can you say no?

The other issue I didn't mention last night is that Benchmade cautioned against using lubricants due to concerns that the lubes might affect the clear plastic. :(
