Those "TC" "Tom's Choice" Barlows from GEC are special factory orders orchestrated by Charlie Campagna... aka Waynorth.... hence the "Charlow" name.

As long as I've been here I did not know this... I've always enjoyed waynorth's post so will have to purchase one.

Jon, Thanks for those delicious additional pictures!!

I ain't never seen 'em, but my common sense tells me the Andes is foothills, and the Alps is for children to climb

Ain't this somethin'? I told my pap and mam I was coming to mountains to trap and be a mountain man; acted like they was gut-shot. Says "Son, make your life go here, here's where the peoples is. Them mountains is for animals and savages." I says, "Mother Gue, the Rocky Mountains is the marrow of the world", and by God, I was right.
There ain't no churches, except for this right here! And there ain't no priests excepting the birds. By God, I are a mountain man, and I'll live 'til an arrow or a bullet finds me. And then I'll leave my soup bone on this great map of the magnificent...

I accumulated these ... and recently found out from another BF thread that these (at least the BJM) are SFOs from the CC stable. The jigging and bone color are identical but the shields are different sizes and that has always struck me as "peculiar".

Great photo! Could you help me understand what you mean, Im not familiar with Charlies non Barlow SFO's and dont know what BJM means. Some open blade pics would be welcome too.

Where are all the harness jacks and all the Rare handle materials :D
Thanks to all who have posted your Charlies.

Best regards

Robin

Got a fine Barlow in Tanbone Spear master.

Confirmation needed here: does my Queen made Schatt Equal End Harness Jack in carbon/Greenbone count?

It's a very well made Jack for sure!

That Bone was an experiment done at my request. It's still some of the prettiest bone I've had done!
BJM = Bullwinkle J. Moose!:D (with the small shield. The larger shield is on the Stockman)

STUNNING KNIVES shown here - Charlie's shot of his leaves the mouth watering for sure!

gncygnnr - those are absolute gorgeous knives, the Bolsters slanted with that Beautiful bone is a absolute cracker - I am really kicking myself for being so slow in earlier days!!!!

I have accumulated a few really lovely knives in my short existence in the knife world -Charlies knives are right up there of my absolute favourites!! Charlies SFO'S are pretty much top of my list right now for sourcing..

One of my beauties..

another..

Who needs Custom knives specially made when you get Custom Quality right here....

I have Charlie himself, and Paul Hilborn - two great guys to thank for their fantastic support ( and most probably patience ) in my search for these lovely knives..
(more photos to follow - yet to be taken ).....

I am also kicking myself for not buying more TC Sheepsfoot Barlows - incredible knives... Pauls beautiful Ebony Spear point that personally sacrificed to me when he heard that I had lost my single bladed Spear point Ebony sweetheart of a knife-man I am still filthy on that! Paul really brightened things up with this gorgeous Ebony TC - Thank you my friend!!

HJ's - please forgive the few non Charlie HJ's, HJ's are becoming a massive part of my interest in knives as of lately ...

ok..I will just roll out some pics, and hope this is ok Robin? - if not my friend - please let me know and I will rectify things!

Charlie, that's the one! I've used it a lot and it's improved like a fine wine.
Didn't realize there were so many handle options, the one at the bottom is particularly nice.

Regards, Will

The HJ is one of Charlie's.

We're all well aware of the Charlow. Let's not forget the central role Charlie played in the creation of the 2010 forum knife.
