Let's see your Charlie SFOs

Oh it's on here, you just have to find it, page 16 actually, Primble.

Perry

I have been looking on page 16. Didn't see any reference of a HJ1 or pic....what am I missing?

Now I got it.....

Here's what left of mine. Duncan got most of them but I still have one rare dog left! 1 of 1 Buffalo horn HJ. Oh and I still have the darker celluloid equal end like Duncan owns. He has 1 and I have number 2 only made.

I'm the last one knowledgeable for whats what in HJ annals but I believe it has to be in this picture Perry posted on page 16 Ron?

Yes it is Paul. Top left of pic 2! I will post a better, more deserving of this fine knife picture tonight. HJ1s are hard to find if not impossible and the fact that it was a gift from the man himself, I will always cherish it. 1 of 1 2005, when it all began with Bill Howard at Queen and Charlie.

Wait, it was a gift from Charlie? I retract my earlier demands. :) Beautiful knife!!!

I am really new to this forum and the knife world. Although I did serve four years in the United States Marine Corps back in the early nineties, I never carried a knife. These days I own a Buck 500 Duke and a GEC Bull Nose w/green linen micarta handles. I have been salivating over all these beautiful knives you folks have. I would love one of Sir Charlie's ebony Barlow knives with spearpoint blade but am so green I am unsure where to look. Really nice knife collections you guys have. I mean, Really Nice!

My friend I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Charlie got mixed up. He was meant to send ME the Buffalo Horn HJ.
No rush my friend- just when you are ready - pack it up and send it over:D

Oh, I see... Duncan was just waiting in the wings for me to so graciously bow out!

Lol, you guys are too funny. The knife is already home with me and it's not going anywhere. I figure, in years to come this knife could be kind of uhhh,,,,,,Valuable!:D

Welcome RW, thank you for your service first and foremost and welcome to the best forum on the net:thumbup:

To borrow a New Zealand term, Charlie is "legend" and although he would play that description down he has revitalized a very strong resurgence in the traditional world. You've got a great pair with the Buck and Bull Nose. Your quest for a TC ebony spear will be well worth your effort.

Hope you stick around and I look forward to future posts:thumbup:

Yes welcome aboard and you will find your knife in good time. Be patient and diligent in your searches and one day it will show.
Here's the pics freshly taken of the HJ1 from 2005, Dave has the rest, that lucky dawg!:D

Sorry Mark I'm gonna have Evan chop this one up and make it a beerlow with mammoth. The elephant ivory just isn't doing it for me.

Sounds like plan Phil. When you have Evan remove the covers, just send them to me and I will make sure they aren't wasted....waste not, want not as Ben Franklin said...er...Abe Lincoln...er...send me the damn covers! :D

Thanks for the additional pictures Perry...what a great bit of history...couldn't belong to a nicer guy:thumbup:;)

Thank you Paul and everyone! I feel very blessed to own this one of a kind creation.
