Thank you 😊😊!!!!! So happy they got there ok and you are happy with them👍👍

I love a distressed look on leather. I bought a 2nd (blemish) sheath from Chad for my K18 and I’m going to try and distress it as well. Will probably drag it behind me on a walk. I think it goes especially well with acid washed blades.

There’s plenty of stuff online for distressing leather. I did a sheath for a friend awhile back. I used various things to create a distress look. One was short links of chain in different sizes. Another was a small thin bag filled with different sized ball bearings. Stuff like this I like to experiment on scrap pieces first.

Oh and yes I’m still on the fence deciding on our other conversation we have going 🤔😉🤷‍♂️ 👍

Chad sent me some scraps to test first.

30-60 grit sand paper can go along way too, press it in for texture, press a wiggle for more, press and drag for most. Then you can darken it a bit or add light with food coloring, watered down paint, dirt, grease (sparingly), colored Sharpies, and anything else fun. I would just avoid anything that can spoil. Can't wait to see the end results!
