I’m digging my new Lorien UF2 sheath. It also works with the DEF2, DEF, and UF. The original DEF has the least amount of resistance when drawing, and I actually prefer it that way. It still has enough retention; you can shake it upside down.

Thank you, I like making them, but I still don’t feel it’s better functionality then then the mashed cat kydex it came with, making these makes me have more respect for how good those work.

Turns out that one of the two beautiful DEK1 sheaths from duramax fits my FK2 very snugly. Hope I don’t get struck down by the leather gods if I use it this way for a bit. Thank you Bill !

Chad makes an excellent drop loop attachment in BioThane or leather, and it’s attached to the leather sheath with custom molded kydex. He made one for the MC Pack Sheath I got from him. I went with the leather loop.

Have not put an attachment on it yet but the stock drop loop doesn't match up, too short
Eta- If you haven't tried them, Chad's sheaths are all awesome, highly recommended

I made another for the Kephart in a more woods man style… I’m going to try one of these for the light chopper next, just waiting on more leather.

I think you have to order Chad’s drop loop adapter with the sheath.
Sagewood Gear makes some nice drop loop adapters in different sizes. You have to measure the distance horizontally between the holes to choose the correct size. They also have one that attaches to only one side for taco sheaths.
