  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lets see your CPK in Leather!

Here’s an experiment I did with a .02 thick titanium lined leather sheath. It worked pretty good, it’s light, it won’t corrode, the draw is descent, but a little grainy compared to a copper liner. And (most of you know this) but being softer than delta 3v, it won’t scratch the blade, the metal rides on the grind lines like a bearing.

…Feel free to copy, take, steel this idea, and make one for yourself or even sell them. I would just be happy to see more people trying metal lined sheaths. Because they are awesome.

They’re pretty accurate at close range!
I can’t hit the brood side of a barn with mine. Stuck between needing glasses and not being able to shoot with them on. I’ve thought of finding an optic that will fit a small revolver…..

Great looking Jou Fuu, btw. How’s the retention on that one and what’s the turn around time on ordering like ?

Thanks, I’ve had that one for awhile. It wasn’t made specifically for the DECK1, but it fits great. I believe it’s one of his generic sheaths for a 4” bushcraft knife. I would describe the retention as medium, but the knife is secure. I don’t really like very strong retention. His turn around time was pretty good for custom orders as I recall. You’ll have to check with Bud, and send your knife in if you’re interested. As far as I know, he only has an EDC on hand.
