Lets see your CPK in Leather!

Well since I’m posting pics everywhere else and on a sugar high since my Reaper arrived today, might as well hit this one up too lol.

It’s a sad day today, I’m out of rail space on my gate for pics, to fit any more CPK’s w/leather sheaths on 😢 lol

Some very nice sheath’s though that I am extremely pleased with! Thank you to the big 3 here cpirtle cpirtle duramax duramax & Lorien Lorien 😍

That’s a beautiful picture, yep, needs more gate space for sure 😁

Seriously though, all that matching leather ( and by those makers too), is a quest just by itself, my compliments sir 👍🍻

Awesome !

I’d love to see how you carry the Shiv if you don’t mind.

Nothing real fancy, just right side hip carry, OWB, inside belt, with Mummert clipped around the outside of belt. It’s not something I really would have thought of, but when talking to Chad he Mentioned it carried well for that big of a knife. He’s right, it’s much better than I would have thought.

If you get around to making one for a dek3 in black I would take one
the time will come. I need both a DEK2 and a 3 in my own personal stash if I'm to make runs of sheaths for them. It's a lot of extra stress and expense to send me a knife from the US for sheath work. Most people don't need a one of a kind one off sheath for these knives, so I like to develop a repeatable pattern so I can work in batches.

This is the first time I've handled a DEK2 since I sent away my poc to Nathan. I love this knife! It'll be hard sending it back to its rightful home.

Dammit Chad cpirtle cpirtle , you sheaths are so clean and purdy ! View attachment 2662468

These are about the most clever sheaths I've ever seen from a business perspective. Being a leather worker yourself I'm sure you can see the time savings spared in each step taken, yet it pulls together nicely and with uniformity.

I'd be willing to guess he knocks those out fairly quick. Especially compared to one of your sheaths or Lorien Lorien 's original hot waxed batch.

Some really unique choices he made at arriving at that aesthetic and a lot of clever thought put into saving time while still making a quality product.

this is the production prototype for the Basic5/FK3, hot off the bench. I'm VERY happy with it, so far. I still need to develop a belt loop for it, and test that part out to get it dialed in- but after 5 iterations it sure feels good to have whittled everything down and ended up with this. Also, working a new process into the existing process I've developed was time consuming at the front end, but will make my life so much more enjoyable and financially productive.

Also made a one off for one of you fine people for the DEK2. This is my first crack at making a sheath for this knife, but I've been thinking about it for so long that it went together pretty quick and well. Once I get my hands on a blem, I'll start working on dialing in the sheath pattern and pumping out small runs, but for now I got to scratch the itch, put my ideas to the test and find out what I need to do or not do for a 'production' version.
