lets see your customized BK2's

Hey Foxx, I just bought the same knife from Chestnut Ridge! Got it yesterday and can't put it down. It's a beauty.

hey guys I was just looking at chestnut ridge also, they have a bk2 with micarta handle and custom kydex sheath for $130 and you get the origional sheath. The micarta handle looks nicer than the ones from tomars but hard to tell without touching, what do ya reckon worth the extra cash?

A bk2 is what about $60.
A after market kydex $50. w/shipping
Micarta scales about $50 w/shipping
Seems like a good deal to me.

Damn guyon that is sweet, I wish they still had those grips available, the finish is excellent....

:eek:Those grips aren't available any more? Damn it! I wanted some. I guess I'll have to try to make my own:D

Those were the Camillus grips. I bought a metric ton of them. :D
However, I'm about to get to try the new KaBar micarta, and from the looks of them, they're going to be sweet.

The Kabar micarta slabs are nice, but I love the classic look of the Camillus grips....

I like the Kydex sheath from CRKS, they are thick and durable. It holds my BK-2 very well. I will say this..
The CRKS micarta slabs are not contoured, they are flat, ala ESEE 5. So, the original sheath is going to be very loose. The original Becker scales might not fit the CRKS kydex without some heat/molding, don't know for sure.
Thus, getting the original sheath, but not the orginal scales is a minor point to consider.
They sell the kydex for $40, for $50 you can get the Armorall Leather Sheath for the ESEE5, and that will pretty much fit.

My simple one, waiting to pick up some micarta.

ready to rain deathly blows down on that poor vegetable.

BK-1 Brute. Got any? Bladite needs a couple extra.

Used sand paper 600 grit, then went to a 1500 grit....time sandind and in the end some fritz polishing....and done.... Just time and you get a beautiful finish and a arm workout ...... A side from looking sweet it does improove on cutting due to the lack of ressistance.
