That is probably why you are so good at what you do, if you have a passion then it is barely work at all. I can only imagine working some place where I had access to that many knives and get to check them out before purchasing. In all honesty I think it is probably a good thing I don't, not knowing about a lot of blades is what keeps my buying in check lol.

Well, my haul came in today. The skyline is sick- unbelievable figuring. The silver leek is very cool and quite different from my two older ones. The black leek is pretty weak, barely looks damascus, but the skyline is so good it distracts me (also got my southard today- had to mess with it a bit to get it on point, but now that it's there it's a blast)

This is killing me. They shut down the postal sorting facility in my town and now my shtuff gets sorted 1.5 hours north of me and its added a day to all my deliveries. Seeing all of your pictures is making me crazy.

I love the blades in this thread, but that black leek would leave me very bitter. It would be my luck to end up with one so plain.

As with your picture I noticed a difference in color of the blades, the silver is bronze hue and the black is a traditional black.
