The shallots generally have the coolest patterns. Chesters looks like it has an eye.

The Shallots look cooler because of all the angles on the blade. I got 2 more DAMs on the way. A black Shallot and Leek.

Two firsts for me. My first damascus blade and my first Skyline. Only real reason I ordered it was because of the damascus. I'll probably get jumped on by the faithful but having never even held a Skyline before I had high hopes for it from all the fan support here. Unfortunately my thoughts on the knife itself.........bleh.....not really a fan. :crushed: The damascus itself though........SWEET! :excitement:

Got mine today. Like Ovalman, it is my first skyline and first Damascus. I also don't know how much I like the skyline alone but the damascus is pretty sweet. The black Cryo is a sweet little knife as well. Pics to come later.

One thing, the Made in USA area on my blade looks a little faded. Can the text brightness vary from blade to blade?

Keep an eye on this thread and check out the ones that are posted. So far, they are looking pretty clear to me, so maybe? Not sure yet.
