That's what I am talking about. A knife like this to me is worth more because of the character.
 
I have a H! Spyderco that has been in the washer probably over 200x that even the black handle turned green (probably from the heat dry cycle).

Still the knife is tight with no play and is great.

But seriously, I use all but a few of my knives. I find they don't look it though, unless they have an easily worn coating. I've beat the crap out of this SOG Seal Team for nearly a decade:
