OK,
Step one: Someone buy or trade for one of his two glocks
Step two: Send in 17 people ahead of me:D

Just wanted to bump this thread back up to the forefront in case some more framelock pics. are out there that need posting! Even though I only have a couple of framelock folders now, that's right ONLY TWO!, I am as happy as a pig in slop. The two, being a JWS large Evolution and the Camillus Cuda MAXX, have made me a happy fellow. I've even come to the conclusion that these are the only two I need. Even though I still enjoy looking at the ones that have been posted, I have finally gotten over the impulse to buy, buy, and buy. Guess I just learned that I can be happy with what I got!!  :D But it don't mean that I don't enjoy seeing what you folks have and the great pics you take of them.

So bring on some more pictures........the more the merrier!

Does anybody have a lock-side pic of one of Elishewitz's "bolster- lock" folders? Would they be considered framelocks? I really liked his older Persian model and its alwasy in the back on my mind...

I consider the Bolster Lock a modified Liner Lock.

Yes, I believe that the bolster lock was a framelock with an overlay..I think Elishewitz was among the first to do it...they are much more common these days

Here's the clip side of the Persian

Thanks for the Elishewitz bolster-lock pics. I'll get one of those beauties for myself someday... :)

Some real fine knives on show here. I've added the link to my favourites just to see whats new on this thread.

Cheers

Here is one I'm proud to own. Made by the Jones Bros.

Shown next to a 98 Commander for size reference, it has a 4.5in blade. The handle texture includes the clip also.

Very cool texture effect on the handles. How did they get that done?

Can someone post a pic of a Lochsa in between a regular and classic Sebenzas?

I believe that was hand done with a Dremel. Not 100% sure though.

What's it do for the gripping ability of the knife DJ? The Jones Brothers make some mighty fine looking knives!

It helps. The texture, in combination with the index finger groove, feels more secure than the handle on my SS Endura.

I agree, the Jones Bros. make some great knives, and are stand up guys!

Got a new one yesterday. A Duncan Aftershock FrameLock, here ya go, next to my standard Aftershock:

the framelock (bottom?) looks a bit longer & pointier; i like its bladeshape a hair better than the top one.

ove 'em both though. the aftershock is one of - if not my favorite folder, bar none. can't wait to get mine, due around the end of december.
