Let's see your GEC #23's, 73's, 83's and 72's

Hey Johnny, is the Tidioute 73L that got you started in Brimstone bone? That is a beautiful cover. Stag always looks nice too. Great photography.

My two newest #73s are both older ones, made in 2007 and 2012 respectively.

Thank you gentlemen for he kind comments!

BB, the scales on that #73L are carved pumpkin bone. A very warm color and a great jig that grips the hand when in use.

What in the world is this one? I have the absolute need to add one of these to my collection! Phenomenal Johnny!

I'm pretty sure that's one of the Red Elk #72s. GEC did a run of American Elk that was dyed red like they used to do with Red Stag. The results were beautiful but caused GEC many problems so that run, 23 clip and 26 wharncliffe, are going to be the only ones with that handle cover.

Very nice Box Elder Jeff!!

Gah...probably impossible to find one as well.

Blackmamba, stellar box elder! That knife is gorgeous.

Johnny, I'm gonna keep carved pumpkin bone in mind if I see it in the future. Great looking bone.

Modoc, great patina. I'm glad people use these fine knives. I really hope the 72 long pull clips are run in the near future!

A couple of the newest arrivals.

I've been wanting one of these for a while!

The edge needed some major work, but it's all good now. Hoping to use this knife for damp environments and meal prep.

I just got this #73 in Black Box Brown jigged bone. I really love the knife and can see why it's such a popular pattern.

A while back I bought my boss one of the 2007 "Free and accepted Masons" knife and it pained me to give it away... Then I saw this one pop up! Same stainless blades without the masonic etches, same covers with sawcut of interlocking semi circles! And it's serial #1 of only 7 made! Jackpot! The drop point has the tiniest bit of side to side play that should be very easy to remedy. This one will be a great user.

Thanks! I really do too! I purchased the original one simply because my boss is a mason. The pictures on the auction did not do it justice or I would have bought 2 of them then. In the end, I'm glad I ended up with this one. Slightly more rare (1 of 7 as opposed to 1 of 25). And the number 1 serial just makes it that much more special I think!

Cool knife, JFowl! I recently picked up one of those FAM knives on the bay and love it. The chocolate bone looks nice and the jig pattern is pretty unique, too.

Enjoy your 1 of 7!

Pretty sure you picked up yours from the same seller I did. I haven't seen anyone else sell them and he's probably sold off 12-13 of the original 25 order. He has one up right now that I'm struggling to keep from throwing a bid on.

Harry inspired my carry today and for the next few days as well. This is such a fantastic knife, how it fell out of rotation is a mystery:o

Sportin a new edge it's back in my front pocket, love this knife:thumbup:
