It is ALWAYS Great to see that one Will . I just spent some time going through some of the early Posts that Enabled me to see the beauty of this Series of knives and see names of people and knives that we no longer see . I am very partial to the 73's but all the others are very nice also . We don't get many chances to buy knives with the grade of Stag that were able to find back then .

Much appreciated Harry, especially so as it went missing for over two years- only to be found under my heavy reading chair which er, never gets moved or looked under until.....;)😍

It has very remarkable canyon style Stag slabs, yet thin panel, no bulk. The knives you show are benchmarks in GEC Stag quality and may likely never be bettered, a worthy collection in the hands of a worthy connoisseur and user

Thanks, Will

True that, Harry!! Great Stag goes back a ways with GEC!!
Brilliant knife and brilliant Stag, choice

Sometimes there are those threads along the lines of " If you were dropped off in the wilderness what 3 knives would you take with you?" It's a maddening and intriguing question, but I'd answer it 1 Fixed, 1 Locker and 1 Three blade and that Stag beauty more than qualifies for the Locker 😍 But the others??? nnnoooo burr aaarghh! 🤣

Thanks, Will

Thank you for the very kind words my friend . I have given up on finding some more new Nice Stag on GEC knives . A number of factors have caused my decision . I do however look at other options . So for this year I have been able to find 6 or 7 Nice Stag handled knives but they should never be shown in this thread . Still though my 73's and 83's are still some of my favorites .
Take care Will !!!!
