I know exactly how you feel.
At first I wasn't a fan of the spearpoint-too big and chunky -too fat.
Now I've come to realise that even after I've gone to the big knife shop in the sky and it hopefully belongs to
one of my sons or maybe grandchildren it will still be a damn good knife .
Now all I need is a wharny blade 72 in green bone or that amazing red elk or...

I was really liking the spear point on mine but have found that for cutting paracord (which I do a lot of) its not so great. Only the tip touches down and that causes it to dull but not the rest of the blade. :eek:

been looking for one of these with a clip point blade but can only find them in plum bone. anyone know where i can find them with different color bone scales? please pm me.
 
Speaking of Plum Bone, I just got this one in (my first #72). I am plum tickled with it. :)

This is my first GEC, just recieved today, blade is nowhere near center, not happy about that, but other than that, I really like the color and size. Thought about sending it back but it does not rub on the blade, so I guess it is really not a big deal, but a knife of this price should have a centered blade IMO. Its a user and here is my pic
