This is my one and only Mustang.... it's a great knife with the 440C blade....

It's looking like Mustangs are on the menu - this is fantastic. Now they just need to hurry and finish up that sausage knife...

GEC needs to finish what they started. I sure hope they received plenty of bovine cattle bone. Both 2020 Northfield GEC#23LL Trappers need to be assembled . I need #35s , #47s , and #74s in my collection. I have faith in Bill Howard and GEC to make the best new knives in the future. GEC and CASE XX is making knives to stay alive. I am proud to supports these wonderful American companies.

I may be the odd man out but I kinda hope there is a two blade version as well as a single.
"Things to Ponder" picture clues 100 year old painting --- Horse and two snakes -- The horse has a saddle with no rider ---- I guessed that this knife clue would be a "#74 Saddle Trapper two blade". I truly believe that some #74 Saddle Trapper two blades will made after the #74 Mustangs.

It seems to me GEC always makes the 2 blade variant before the single blade version ........
It makes more sense to sell the two blades knives first. It won't matter with the #74s. (3 7/8" closed) The GEC#74 Trapper is the perfect sized Trapper knife. GEC#74s will sell out lightning fast regardless the number of blades. GEC just made a #23 in single and double blades . The smartest move for GEC is too offer both on the #74 knives. They need to make collectors happy. GEC can still make the double blades first ! The GEC#74 Schedule has been released yet , just a picture of a triple line #74 Mustang" bolsters. GEC loves to keep us guessing until the release date. (Edit Thought) These #74 bolsters are for a (Northfield Mustang #74) run. GEC always makes Tidioute knives before the Northfields. Just another clue in the puzzle.

Bump, because we have this trend over the past couple years to have a few threads going at the same time about the same GEC knife....

The GEC#74 Mustang schedule was released yesterday. Tidioute GEC#74 jigged bone (no color announced) --- Brown Burlap Micarta --- Northfield GEC#74 Sambar Stag --- Arizona Iron Wood !!!!!! (shields not announced) I am stoked with joy ! I am down for all four with my GEC dealer ! (edit correction) Great Eastern Cutlery is offering a very short low count on the #74 run. It aint my knife until is in my left hand. If you can score one at all , you are blessed. The dealers are swamped with too many pre-order request.
