Some of them were made by Murphy knives. I used to browse their catalog before Dexter bought them. They would say, these were made for Herter. I swear I have one of the little hump-backed ones somewhere.George Leonard Herter III, the master B.S.r probably had his knives made by Ontario; that is my best guess. I am aware of three patterns of fixed blades and one folder from Schrade Walden.
Sheffield-made Sgian Dubh (most Sgian Dubh and Scottish Dirk blades are produced unmarked, as they are then shipped up to Scotland for hafting)
