Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Finished that's one's cousin David, short time after yours:

Another beauty Dave 👍🤠

Just sitting here drinking coffee with my window opening on this cool morning just put me in the mood to look at some fixed blades. It’s been a couple of years since being in the woods but I like these picture. Brings back some good memories with the kids.View attachment 2676077View attachment 2676079View attachment 2676080

My fiancée has been talking about good knife and I got her Helle Harding for this christmas. One of her criteria was that it has to have finger guard. I think the extra secure sheaths is good feature as well.
Man it is gorgeous knife - I can hardly wait to.. erhm for Santa to bring it! :D

The Harding is a good looking knife. I would imaginie she will love it. I also have the cork handle fillet knife my wife bought me but no pictures of it.

I don't remember why I thought this BPS needed a new handle, but after it had been lying about for a while losing its screws, I realized that the old handle was a pretty good fit.

While I was at it, I added a protective epoxy coating to the blade.😁
I've got mine hanging up in the kitchen right now, get it some extra patina. The steel seems to like rusting! 😉

Since summer of last year I have not sold any, and have actually bought even more DMC Knives; but I've also given away three of these in the original pic as gifts to BF members. I'm also back down to one Bitty Bitey Baby Birdie after also giving away one here (wont post it to preserve privacy). I think those are the only ones I've passed on to better owners...

Three Dadleyesque Ontarios from before the fall.
It's hard for me to have a favorite knife, because I like big roomy handles and small efficient handles, among other contradictions.

The Morta on top came in at least one longer size, and I think the Blackbird below did also. 420 HC on the Morta, D2 on the Bushcraft Field, if memory serves, and something expensive with a lot of letters on the Blackbird.
(The Blackbird is quite shiny; I had to tilt it away from the light.)
