Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

As long as it's legal for you..... you'd be surprised what people don't notice.
I've walked around in public, grocery stores/etc, with just a T-shirt and a fixed blade on my hip. Nobody cared, and probably only some notice. I was kinda surprised. Figured I'd get dirty looks.

*Cool bag!
Thanks, Crag. I wish it were there same here but people, laws and society in general have changed. When I'm in more rural/farm communities I don't think twice about a visible belt knife because the folks there recognize that it is just a tool like any other and not a weapon. :)

I know just what you mean :( Beautiful knife too :)
Thanks, Jack. Watch out for those blackberry thorns. :)

I hear ya....but I'm not talking laws or "society norms" I'm talking human psychology.... Most people can't see what's right in front of them....
And, that's probably by design. We are too busy struggling, working multiple jobs, bouncing kids around from event to even. We are lucky if we don't forget them or lose them.... No body is looking or paying attention.

I'm a people watcher, I like to know what's going on around me.

Next time you go out in public, go to a somewhat busy place and Watch people.

It's almost like nobody is paying attention & watching
except for the "good guys" and the "bad guys"........

I had this out yesterday. (Guess I still do.)

My 5" Utica survival knife. So far it works; nothing's killed me yet.

A cosmetic bolster irritates me in principle, but a weak point 3/16" by 7/8" doesn't need a lot of structural bolstering.

If you don't like the bolster, Remove it.
Make a new single piece handle for it.
It's easier than you might think.

What was the name of that maker again?

I found two more of my Camillus/Western Mark I navies. (These aren't them. This Mark I just happens to live with my best H-15.) To my surprise, I have two of the flat-ground Mark Is and one of the saber grind. I'd thought it was the other way around.

I sawed off the disc pommel on the Mark I.

It's one of Varusteleka's Jaakaripukkkkos Jer. Made in Finland, they did list the maker at one time, but I forget it. Really handy knife
