Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Some very admirable workmanship there rinos.
Particularly like the one you are holding, looks like a highly effective knife .So, you are a lefty then?

Beautiful knives rinos. Very nice work on the handles.

Amos Iron Wolf, Wostenholm made a knivfe very similar to your Cattaraugus. Will try to post a pic of mine later in the weekend.

This is a 2004 Northwoods Scagel.

I'll follow that Scagel-inspired post with another: a "trout & bird" by James Behring Jr. accompanied by a gorgeous Mudbone Jones sheath.

That is an absolute dream knife Corey and as beautiful as it is, the sheath may ever be more impressive.

Another one from James Behring Jr. A fish camp knife in Scagel "fish-tail" style.

Thanks Corey. I really needed to see that Fish-tail Behring. Geez, now where did I put that blood pressure medicine?

This is the first new fixed blade I've bought in years. Made for me by James Whitten. High polish on D2 with green micarta handles.

VERY nice buy Ed.

That curved handle, kind of Flintlock pistol or Saddlehorn style looks like it would fit the hand like a glove! Unusual to see high polish D2 blade.

All the best, Will

Super cool sheath knives all around in here during the last month or more from you guys!. It was great to catch up in here.

This new James Behring Hunter-Skinner is going with me in my pack for a Wild Hog hunt next week Friday the 13th..

Hoping to break her in over the weekend on a big boar.. :D

Best,

You going to hunt the hogs with a knife Anthony? Sounds exciting.

Sunny, that's a super knife there. Maybe you will have something a little longer range than that when you are taking down those hogs?

Hunting with knives -- I'm brave, but not quite that brave  :p :D The knife will be for field dressing -- Gutting, Quartering the rough cuts and caping and the like!. My pard's and I will be using pistols for the actual hunt. Mine is an old Ruger Black Hawk single action .41 Magnum

This is a knife by Dan Graves. I am planning to have a sheath made, but until then I have these quick pics. Dan really gives you a heck of a lot of knife for the money, and the fit and finish is excellent. I really like his style with this long and slim type of Bowie.

"Rifleman's Fighter Bowie" -The knife is all stag and Dan's homemade damascus. 8" blade. Roughly 13" overall. Roughly 1/4 inch thick at the guard. The balance point is at the guard.
