What's your opinion of that knife Will please ? I've been hankering after a wharncliffe for some time and I can't make up my mind between a Case swayback or a GEC half whitt.
It's got a lot going for it in my eyes: single-spring, near sunk joints, unusual pattern with a good Wharncliffe. But it is quite different from the smaller 2 spring CASE Swayback so it's hard to compare, both decent knives mind. Another choice could be GEC's Hound's tooth, a reverse of this pattern with a long single blade Wharncliffe, also look at CASE's Seahorse Whittler, a very pretty pattern. Hope this gives you something to chew over.
