Benchmade mini grip 556 blue. Got it in the mail yesterday...going to Benchmade for warranty next week, defect in bushings causing binding. :(

I got this nifty, earthy, traditional most recently. It's an Aitor Castor. I like it so far. F&F is very respectable and it has a strong firm spring. The blade steel is an unspecified sort of carbon, but it is fine by me and sports decent edge retention.

I love the look of these, but in general I'm not a fan of heavy springed folders...I have a Douk Douk and its back spring is a bit of an issue, but its still one of my favorite knives I own. its spring makes it a poor winter weather knife (out doors) or even indoors if your hands are wet (like just washing some fruit you want to cut)...so could you tell me how the caster is to open and close with wet hands?

I don't know what the weather is like where you are but if its gets cold (I'm in the north with snow on the ground) how good of a general duty ourdoor knife does the caster make? Ok to open with numb fingers?

I'll get one at some point, love the look.

Today my second Opinel #9 arrived...working on a multi blade mod.

Victorinox Executive, Smith & Wesson Carabeamer (blade hq gift), Kershaw Chill sitting on some 550 cord.
