Lets see your latest acquisition

What a beautifull knife. Can you give the lenght, blade lenght and if possible weight? It is a lockback? What is your opinion of the overall quality?
Hi HFinn!

The blade is 85 mm, the handle is 110 mm and the weight is 128 g.

The edge angle is 17 degrees inclusive. The steel is AISI 440C and the scales are palisander. The liners, bolster and end but is brass. It is indeed a lockback.

The overall F&F is outstanding. The lockup is perfect and so is the blade centering.

Technically this one, but they sent me the wrong model so it was returned. I expect the knife I received in exchange next week.

What a cool grind!

I came home to find this waiting for me. It's much prettier that I was able to show in the pic, but I really bought this one for it's birthday.

I got this nifty, earthy, traditional most recently. It's an Aitor Castor. I like it so far. F&F is very respectable and it has a strong firm spring. The blade steel is an unspecified sort of carbon, but it is fine by me and sports decent edge retention.

sweet blade! the edge doesn't hit the backspring / handle?
