I realise now that more and more of my folders are locking knives .
How about posting up a few pics of Traditional locking folders .

Also , how long has the locking folder been around ?
My 1940T above is a great concept in my opinion and is my current favorite Traditional .

Is that Puma's version of the Buck ?
How old is it ?

Ken

It's much slimmer than the Buck and I don't know who's came first. I know almost nothing about Buck knives. It is 70's knife. By the way ...I like your tag line, Ken

Buck's came first. That question has come up before.

Thank you! I like the liner lock as well! I have also modern and 111mm SAKs that use it and it's a very secure system.

That 23L locks up like a fixed blade!

How do you like the Russlock? I've never actually tried one. Looks like it may be a pain to work, but must not be as many people own them.

It hurts my thumb to open it properly so I "two hand" it by starting it with the heel of my hand. Neat idea but hard on my RA hands. They are a beautiful design. Wish this one was carbon but it was a gift from my wife so....

I hope this SAK still meets the Traditional criteria .
I'm going to have to keep an eye out for one of those Electrician knives .

I have more Case Russlocks and couple of Mini Copperlocks but no pics. My other locking blades are not suitable for this sub-forum.
