With Tony's gear bag thread, I saw a couple of Jumbo users post.

Man purse or whatever you want to call it, I like it.

My request is this : Please show pics of yours, what extra pouches you've attached and what gear you have loaded where.

I really want to set mine up better and I'm hoping you folks can help me learn. :)

Here's my current setup. The Janus extension is just a perfect idea. The Izula fits great into the velcro loop of the shoulder pad. I've got an RC3 in the carry pocket, the RC4 very plainly locked to the side, and a Kershaw blur slipped into a slide pocket in the back. That's an M2 on the front side, and I have an M1 I'm trying to work into the mix as an FAK. I added a lanyard to the slide pocket for easier draw.

I have a few other pouches I could put on the backside, but the problem was they got in the way of the concealed zip pocket. I might try something smaller there, but for right now I don't really need the room. I had a shotshell holder on the front of the janus, but removed it. I've decided to make this an EDC bag, and I'll be picking up a black one to use as a full out go bag. That'll get all the ammo bits and probably an rc5/6 on the side.

(and yes, the janus isn't exactly setup right in this photo. opps. belt is currently run under the other side of the pack. )

I have the blue one like posted above but don't have anything in it yet. It's going to be a "tactical baby bag" and the baby isn't supposed to be here until April, so we don't have the goodies to put in it just yet. :D

the thing I really like about the blue, is that if I take off the rc4 and the surefire.... no one looks twice at me. Just a normal murse. I've even taken short walks around the city with the 4 on the side without anyone saying anything. It sorta rides at a point no one really looks.

It's not a ton of cargo room. But it keeps the important stuff quick at hand. I'm living between houses right now, and it lets me always have some assorted items close by. I've never thought concealed carry could be done seamlessly in life until I met this bag. Going to apply in the next month or so now.

How much gear can COMFORTABLY carried?
I'm looking at either a Falcon or jumbo and can't decide. Mine mostly will be "possibles"/ edc/ get home / keep my sh!t organized. What do you guys keep in yours? My gear will fit in a surplus butt pack with alittle spill over into a smaller pouch. But would like to get a bigger pack for winter trips(snugpak rocket possibly)

I use mine as a Truck kit....just off the top off my head gear list:
leatherman,SAK Rucksack,sharpner,Izula,RC4,headlamp,AA led flashlight,yellow pelican 1000 is a firekit only, Bandana,bug spray,headnet,Boonie cap,Bic in kydex, RAT Zippo in leather sheath,FAK,2ea.Nalgene,1SS cup, Firesteel w/striker,poncho,30ft para cord,brass snare wire,AMK heet sheet blanket,1mre . bag is grab & go ready.

Depends on how much crap you have in your bag and how big your pistol is. I've carried mine with a SIG 226R, 1911, and USP 40F and haven't had any real problems when the bag isn't absolutely stuffed to the gills.

Bout how much do you think it weighs and would it be comfortable for long distances on foot?

No pics, but I've been carrying my OD jumbo for almost a year now, and love it. It carries a Glock 19, a Bravo-1, a Game Warden, a Mora, and a full survival kit with plenty of room left over for other, random day-to-day stuff. It's a great bag- best I've found so far.

I'm really digging Dizwolf's blue bag. I've never seen one like that. My one complaint about my Maxpedition is that it's too "tacticool" looking. It LOOKS like I'm carrying a gun. The blue looks nice & friendly.

I think of the orange and blue bags as true 'urban camo'. Couple peace patches and no meat buttons, they'll never expect you coming

I have the tan one. I have had probably 20 or so compliments about it from a wide range of people. I don't find it is a very tactical bag so long you arent wearing a molle vest and have a rifle slung over your shoulder heh. It is a great bag and very functional. I often use mine as a camera bag

OK I posed the same question a while ago, bought the Jumbo and it works great. Plenty of room for 5 diapers, a changing pad, burp cloth, wipes, change of clothes, Surefire G2, SAK Fireman, Izula on strap, LM Wave, FAK, and still plenty of room. We just started using bigger diapers so I need to switch the ones I have in the bag but I know there will be plenty of room. Really like this bag.

Love the bright colors and matching Izula wrap and zipper pulls. Just needs a Blue ESEE patch to round it out..lol

I ordered a regular Fatboy for myself as a slightly early birthday present. Looks like it should be just about right for what I want to do with it. As much as I love my Pygmy Falcon II, it's very annoying and inconvenient to have to take it off every time I need to get at something while hunting or hiking, really slows me down. I also rarely need all the extra space of the main compartment. Will post a review (Probably in the WSS forum) once I've used it a bit.
