Hrmmmm... maybe this thread was a bad idea. I have the urge to buy a Mora now![]()
Glad you like it!one of the the better threads in GKD if u ask me
You should try the 711. Most comfortable handle of all Mora's. Edge also goes back to the handle.
Hereโs my 746g, same handle style as the 711. And yes, itโs super comfortable! This was the first Mora I ever bought. Many since then and this oneโs now become my โtoolbox knife.โ

I get these at Flea Markets. They look like they need a little maintenance.View attachment 2174243View attachment 2174242
Love the classic birch handles and the embossed sheaths!I got my first Mora about 12 years ago - laminated carbon Classic with full length rat-tail tang. Santa came back the next year with some more for my family, and a couple of other neat tools for my stocking.

That's why I grabbed a 510, because I fear it will be disco'd, again.Wish they still sold these.
Also wish they still sold the cheap painted classics.
Yeah, $45 for a classic just isnt the same lol. Messes with the entire ideology...plus they modified the blade shape. That's why I grabbed a 510, because I fear it will be disco'd, again.
Get what you want, while you can!
