Carl Andersson, most likely after 1940 and before 1961, at which point Carl Andersson stopped making knives and everything was taken over by KJ Eriksson.
The CA stamp was also used by KJ Eriksson for while after the takeover.

Also wish they still sold the cheap painted classics.

I didn't know until I read this that they were no longer available...
The new "classic" prices are still relatively cheap for what you get but when I bought the bulk of my red painted handle ones 7~10 years ago they were under half the price now, one reason why they were great for modding & were cheaper than buying just a blade!

As I was walking around the wood place I spotted a bargain bin, and in that bargain bin some end cuts of rosewood. Having a blade with no handle it struck me, why not make a comfortable rosewood handle for that Mora blade?
