Let's See Your Most Stylish Stockman!

Jeff, I think everyone was a bit scared to enter their Stockman's in a persons Thread whom imo is considered as having one of the most spectacular stockman collections - which of course my friend is you.

I want to say what a delight seeing everyone's outstanding, beautiful Knives- Thank you all for sharing.

This first Knife - is far from Mint, but when I look at this Knife I appreciate the stunning quality - not condition of this Knife, and the condition is still pretty darned nice.

Sears SFO by Camillus whom during this era, Camillus produced their very best work as the Sta- Sharp line.

Premier Senator Stockman Knife by Camillus.

While still on the Sears Stockman's, I love the Bone on this Knife- This Craftsman - the Carbon Blades have patina'd Stains- yet the Blade Grind with the Long Pull and the Bone creates a gorgeous result, and I totally dig that small Clip Point 😍 .......

I apologise for wearing out the record on Sears, but my friend - you asked 🤣

Two Nicely Hafted big Stockmans, I love the Bone that Ulster used- and Camillus as well- some a more Orange, some a deep Dark Brown with gorgeous highlights, but how they did their closely guarded secret of Jig work and then dye works- the results are out there and still to this as we improve and become more adapt and create seemingly better creations, imo some of these knives form the 40's to the 60's etc still hold their own as we Traditional Knife addicts / victims whatever we are know .....

Even Bonite, as some may discard, and understandingly as it feels like a cheap "tinny" plastic- and it shrinks away from the Bolsters a lot if the times, and as we automatically go to the top- the best and discard the rest, but the rest were the greater percentage of all Traditional Knives.

I think is a nice looking example of the lower tiered Knives is a lovely looking Stockman, nice Grind, a nice thin Long Pull, along with an etch, and..."fairly" attractive looking Handles.

lol...Sears Record still stuck

I like the colour and whole appearance of the Stock Knife, I suspect this is a later 30's Sears Knife made by Camillus - Celluloid featured high , but what was so interesting is when the stunning "Bone Stag' and Stag examples came out..... synthetics started to sneak up the tier level until they reigned.

Another Camillus Stockman for Sears, the composite handle is imo very attractive, in fact this whole package here I think is pretty darned cool - especially with Cam's Spiral Punch, nice Grind, Long Pull nice Swage, Etch is strong- what's not to like?

Camillus's turn next stepping up to the Plate, they to Smashed it out the Arena...... The Beveled Knife Stockman, I simply love everything about this Knife, this Knife is what a 68 Camaro is in Cars - not one angle does it not look perfect. Every blade is beautifully Beveled, Stunning Bone that has such a beautiful ever so slightly different colour to it.

This is when Sta-Sharp were King of Sears, and when Camillus presented their best under the Sta-Sharp brand.

The lighting in the top Photo does not show the real beauty of the Blades, I think this Photo does.....
