Let's See Your Most Stylish Stockman!

Here I thought this thread had about run its course, and then up jumps Duncan throwing around pristine beauties from yesteryear! The Sta-Sharp Beveled Blade 9489 is simply spectacular, and just my favorite of many other super stockman. Paul, you old leopard you, that Peña is sublime! Bob, a beautiful example of a well-loved Case red bone, and the I*XL is an historic offering. Thanks to all for the continued excellent posts.

I do like this one a lot. I worked it into rotation last fall after having on a display case for several years. When I first got it I didn’t like the way the color was uneven, but now I really like the color.

Nothing fancy just a Case 47.FAD5DCB3-A888-4292-A225-5039761C5CEE.jpeg9852E3E3-0A4B-44F5-8D07-7B4B54A1FF4A.jpegB7AC5C6B-EC17-48A6-8E8F-4F3E35BAD88A.jpeg

Spectacular examples from everyone :eek: The 6347 with the long ago discontinued "A" clip point blade is my most stylish stockman (for folks that aren't familiar with Case patterns it's top right in the photo) I like it so much it's currently in the hands of a custom maker to have a copy made😎

My favorite; from the bone color to the jigging to the the shield, to the blade & bolster shapes, this one just checks all the boxes for me. Fight'N'Rooster.

Stockman, did someone say Stockman???IMG_0024.jpegIMG_0023.jpeg

To go off Jeff’s original post I was thinking fancy schmancy, too purdy to carry kinda knife unless I was going to one of them shindigs…

The first one that came to mind was the Ulster our very own glennbad glennbad recovered for me. I really love the aggressive jigging and Acorn shield.

Then there is a Canal Street I won in a give away. If I remember correctly it was glennbad glennbad that sponsored the GAW. This sucker is a wicked slicer and is just slim and slender in the pocket.

Then there is the John Primble with coined liners. I think that is pretty fancy.IMG_0026.jpegIMG_0027.jpeg

Last but not least are a few of my Calf Ropers. I think they are the perfect size if you were going to have only one Stockman. Not too big for office type carry and not too small to work on the farm. But they are some beautiful looking knives!!!

Sweet collection Jim. 👌

Great stuff, Jim and Elliot. Love that Peña, and if you ever want to move that tortoise Camillus, let me know! I've been looking for one of those forever. 😩
When I rode out to Montana to visit with Rob Simonich in 2000, he had the Trapper version of that Camillus offering on his bench.

I got that stockman from the late Jim Mattis many moons ago. (I'll keep you in mind, Jeff, if and when the day comes.)

My nicest stag-handled Stockman, an 18 pattern Case made in 1992. I was lucky enough to have won it in Primbles great Kentucky Derby GAW a number of years ago. I carry this one for ceremonial purposes; weddings, retirements, graduations, birthdays, and funerals. OH
