Let's See Your Most Stylish Stockman!

This one is probably as stylish as I have.... a Bradford Cutlery (Case) 5347 in stag.... I agree with 5K Qs 5K Qs , the rounded bolsters seem to add a touch of class to a knife. One of my dislikes in most stockman knives is the krinking of the sheepfoot blade to make everything "fit".... since Case went with the 3 backsprings, their blades nestle down together, nicely straight.
This one is SS, and there are a few blade rub marks, entirely my doing. The blades do not touch each other... I just get a little ham-handed when opening, sometimes.
The stag, to me, is just about perfectly shaped and thick. I don't like overly thick stag, and this one, to me, is "just right". It also has very nice character, and is very evenly matched.... something Case does not always accomplish.
All in all, a very stylish stockman, in my opinion.....

My Most Stylish could be my next one :cool: Still waiting patiently (??) for it to arrive here from the USA. Brand new CASE 18 Redbone cv. I feel sure I'll improve it with a Tea-Bath. Pictures will follow, but when ?;)

Some really excellent examples in his thread, much to mull over and even day-dream :thumbsup:

I remember you talking about this being your ideal stockman. So, I'm glad you're getting one! Definitely post pics once it arrives!! And, congrats!

That will be good to see Will - Hard waiting for arrivals isn't it! :(

I need to put up a few more- a couple of these are gifted Stockmans that are in my constant EDC rotation. I just need a bit of time to take some snaps- Cell Phone camera is shattered!

L lithicus Many thanks :thumbsup: It's not the older or vintage one I'm still after- that's a long haul project - but I think this one will be an exceptional user. Could do with another CASE 18 in Amber Bone stainless for that matter:) Never really seen a Stock knife I don't like, pretty well unique in patterns in that way.

Campbellclanman Campbellclanman The stuff you've be exhibiting Duncan is museum worthy, great taste too my friend :thumbsup: The wait is interminable, not half way through yet as Customs and the Finnish Posti haven't yet had their slow-worm input...but I suppose it teaches you stress management- just go into hibernation mode:D Not so good for Anger Management perhaps.....🤣:eek:

Very stylish indeed! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
The '347 pattern is my favorite Case stockman pattern (sowbelly is close second ;)). I like the 3-spring design that hornetguy hornetguy described, the round bolsters, and I think the "normal" clip blade looks good on this larger pattern. I have 3 of them (linerless Zytel, sawcut bone, and jigged bone), I like them all, but the most stylish in my view is the walnut Rogers jigged bone with the tasteful quad-lined bolsters. I don't have photos that do it justice, but these might give you an idea of the knife's style (or make you hungry):

Alert for our friend Primble Primble who can see right into the soul of woods.... ;) 😍

And likely the best 81 I've seen, fantastic :cool:

Thank you! Got it back yesterday, and was absolutely floored. The drop point mod was perfect for my uses. The new covers I think are quite a bit more attractive than the original osage. She’s a keeper ;)

I, too, like the fuller clip over the more slender clips sometimes seen on stockmans. But man, are those some gorgeous covers!! 😍

Jack Black, any knife in Stan Shaw's hand is pretty stylish to me. Love that big grin on his face. RIP, Stan. That's a well used knife, from the looks of the main clip blade. Was that his EDC, or yours that day? C'mon man, what's the rest of story?
