Let's See Your Most Stylish Stockman!

Very stylish indeed! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
The '347 pattern is my favorite Case stockman pattern (sowbelly is close second ;)). I like the 3-spring design that hornetguy hornetguy described, the round bolsters, and I think the "normal" clip blade looks good on this larger pattern. I have 3 of them (linerless Zytel, sawcut bone, and jigged bone), I like them all, but the most stylish in my view is the walnut Rogers jigged bone with the tasteful quad-lined bolsters. I don't have photos that do it justice, but these might give you an idea of the knife's style (or make you hungry):

Absolutely gorgeous 👍

I was at the GEC Rendezvous with Mr. Hilborn meeting up with our good Friends, Ron and Harry made it down too,Harry and I got to talking and he pulled out a couple of knives and asked me to choose one - Oh man.... this was so awesome, one I think was a German Knife? and then this smaller Stockman, and this Stockman needed some love- because of this ( and because it had a Punch ) I asked if I could choose this one. Harry handed it over and it immediately became a treasured Knife to me, as gifted knives do, every time I use a knife that is gifted I think or whisper "Thank you my friend" It means a lot to me - I'm guessing you guys feel this too.

The tip was broken, someone - ( and it would not have been Harry ) hit it with a Grinder - and I wanted to induce life back into this Knife, It came back home to New Zealand, where I re-tipped it, left the sharpening marks in it, and this treasured Knife has a constant time visiting my EDC, in fact I left this Knife in the Garage last night after working om my Lawn mower and conquered the problem, it was close as I was deciding should I smash my Lawn Mower to bits with this sledgehammer or take a deep breath and try again lol.

Jeff Sir, this isn't my most stylish, but is though, a great looking treasured Stockman, when you hold it you appreciate the nice Jigged Bone, the greater percentage would call this Rogers bone, the blades came up super sharp, and that Punch is a little weapon, I don't want to tell the jobs that Punch has done in fear of getting an abusive email from Charlie 🤣

Campbellclanman Campbellclanman The stuff you've be exhibiting Duncan is museum worthy, great taste too my friend :thumbsup: The wait is interminable, not half way through yet as Customs and the Finnish Posti haven't yet had their slow-worm input...but I suppose it teaches you stress management- just go into hibernation mode:D Not so good for Anger Management perhaps.....🤣:eek:
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but if "someone" were to just send a package to you, does it have to go through customs, etc? If not, we should work out some kind of program where we "stateside" folks get the desired knife and just send it over... ? Just wondering out loud....

Thats an interesting question...Cattle are Stock so yes.....except if the person herding them is not a man...eg a woman or one of the many new genders ...then it would of course need to be referred to as a 'stockperson'...D

Don't forget all those stockboys who kept grocery shelves full during their after-school jobs. (There weren't any stockgirls back then when I had such jobs.)

Nice thought but unfortunately not. Everything coming into this EU country from 'outside' has to be checked even low value stuff and gifts. Time to start smuggling :cool: maybe a fleet of 'weather balloons' I could shoot down...birds with parcels (no there's bird flu hysteria here a nice excuse to shoot more wildlife:confused:) The Stockman is still in transit so yet to get to the customs:rolleyes:

Nice sowbelly! Is that Crimson bone? I only have one Case damascus... a little half whittler. They seem to take a pretty good edge....
Yes it is crimson bone. & yes I love the edge Case's Damascus takes. Sorry for the late reply.
