Thanks. Following some tips from Abe/Scotcha, I've been trying to do outdoor pictures more. Sunlight or even indirect sunlight seems to give better results than the various indoor attempts that I've tried.Dang Jerry, that thing looks awesome in your pictures. Nice set there! Esp that ironwood KEB ;-)
I'm pleased to announce my first (and not last) knife from Chris showed up this week. After seeing many photos of Peter's OK/T Warthog and handling so many of Phil's Raptors, I knew I needed some of Chris' work. I've been searching for the right one for some time and through the gernousity of Phil during the 9/15 sales thread I was able to score a Mamushi in a one of my favorite OK/T configs. I am very impressed with the workmanship. The blue liners almost glow under the translucent G10. I love the hammered texture on the CPM154. The lines are flawless and the symmetry is perfect. No surprise, as I have held many of Chris' knives - but this one is mine! The knife is razor sharp out of the box. I haven't had it out for trial run yet, but I thought it went well with my KRISS for a first photo. More to come.

Thanks. My bog oak are being saved for the winter when it's not so bloody hot in TX and I got on a synthetic summer kick. Besides liking Chris' designs I also like CPM154 being his usual go-to. The Thunderstorm Kevlar is S135VN to boot (and the brass pieces in it are pretty cool).Nice Warthog family photo Jerry. I like the fact that they are all synthetic handles ranging from fancy looking to all business.Wood handles have not been good to me lately...
