Let's see your Osprey K/T

Razorback I just received today

Very nice, that was the one I liked best from the two that got posted together. Unique combo of materials that appears to work very well together. Congratulations, how do you like that model?

When the sheath popped up a while back, I grabbed it because I liked it but wasn't sure what I'd use it for. Who woulda thunk it would make a perfect black/red/white combo.

The knife arrived over the weekend and I only have one word for it ... Grail

Great score Jerry! The Raptor is my favorite knife out of many these days. Light weight, super comfortable, and oh so slicey! I dig the handle combo on yours and the fact that it is guardless. The sheath is cool too. Be careful with the tip of the blade when inserting it in the sheath.

Congratulations!

Phil

Thanks Phil, I think this one is going to climb to the top soon also .. as soon as I introduce it to the Mrs. I cannot believe how light and balanced it is. Hopefully today I get to put it to some first hand use. The carbon fiber isn't slippery at all and Chris' handle ergonomics and details really help lock it into a grip. I'm convinced Chris could make a handle from butter and his ergonomics would still allow for an excellent lock-tight grip.

To be honest, I hadn't noticed the detail on these models about being guarded on non-guarded but thanks for pointing that out! My preference is non-guarded as long as the handle shape allows for some level of safety/grip.

I think I'm good with re-sheath technique and am no longer poking myself in the sides. Sounds like you're speaking from experience also. :) While arranging the knives for pictures I can say that the Raptor is holy hell pointy!! With most knives, you can place a finger on the butt and a finger on the tip to move them around a bit - not true with the Raptor!! The least bit of pressure with a finger tip into the tip of the knife and you'll feel it bite.

Thanks to Chris for making this knife, and all his others as well.

Not much by way of a close up. I'll do that when the matching Razorback arrives.

Hey Chris,
Pretty sure I need more (carbon) fiber in my diet!! :D Apache, Warthog and a Mamushi would about do the trick but for now the folders are way ahead. I really ought to loan you a PM2 since you've never handled one. (still can't believe that)

I know this is an OKT thread but have to give you a hard time (in good fun)

Hey Danny,
Thanks for the input on the CRKs models! Picked up a Lg Inkosi (Knifeart CF exclusive) and then immediately ordered a Sm Inkosi and got that today. Both #68 in their series of 100.
