I tried my best to cut my thumb off during the wrap. I was holding the sheath and pulling the cord tight when the knife slipped out of the sheath and cut me from the palm to the tip of the thumb. The saving grace is it was deep enough to allow me to get to the sink before the blood started in. I would have been dealing with two wounds if I would have bleed on the carpet.

My camera's not the best, but here's what I've got. Went with black 550 cord, with the inner strands removed. I used the over-under wrap from Cutlerylover's old video, and wrapped it really, really tight; to the point where you can see the outline of the handle.

Didn't have any paracord, so I wrapped mine up with an old shoe lace from one of my boots!

I love the two tails look....

I ended up super gluing the ends together....
