Let's see your primary EDC Hinderer(s)...please.

From my cargo pocket onto the step in front of me....

The other three see far more use...but the green one is carving its way into a very primary spot.

Hasn't happened yet...I don't think...but now that it's been said....I had better watch out! :D

I just though of something.

Many say they rotate their EDC(s).

I mix and match XMs for the known or potential task at hand...is that the same thing?

Your thread but.......Yes

I'm the originator...but I think this is our thread. Our EDC choice(s) is a pretty personal one.

I'm still encouraging people to post.

Words are fine, we'll believe you.

But photos...well..I'm a fan. Back when I was lurking I always loved seeing photos. It's really one of the main reasons I post them.

So...

As Promised (Full Disclosure) These are my current EDC's. Note: Only "Orangey" has not attacked me.

Not EDC'd (Yet) No known attacks.

I've been curious...what weight difference is there between the Ti scales and G10 scales...is it noticeable or negligible?
(Ti/Ti vs. Ti/G10)

IMO- Negligible. Tactile feedback both a different story as well as personal preference.

I EDC an entire Ti (nuff said) ;)

I think the Ti scale adds a nice heft. It is heavier, but not much. It just adds a more tank like feel if that makes sense. Somewhere I posted the weights....Will have to do a reweigh.....When we make some damn scales!

Yes it is more the overall effect than the addition of weight. The entire knife simply "Feels" more ..... everything.
More heft, tanklike feel, correctness, confidence, bomb proofness, - More "Everything".
The weight (IF any at all) it is a, " What was that I was concerned about?....I Love this Knife" issue.
The "ALL Ti" is ONE Hinderer Everyone should have at least one of.

Awesome stuff, Rubi!

J--Not a bad beverage. We ever coss paths and I'd happy throw back a few pints, Amigo.
Thanks for complimenting that 24. It's not easy to show its color(s) in photos. It looks better in person than in photos.

I'm a all Ti fan. Weight..blah...notice it's more "significant" than Ti liner+G10, but it's not a negative in any way. Plus it looks pretty damn nice IRL.

I'm an all Ti fan too.

All the knives I've shown in the thread have at the very least Ti standoffs and lanyard bead.

Personally, you can notice it in a back-to-back comparison, but you very quickly adapt and it is not perceptible. As Rob pointed out, it makes the knife feel that much more solid.

XM-18 (3.0") - equipped with G10/Titanium liner - 3.6 oz.
XM-18 (3.0") - equipped with Hinderer Titanium Scales - ~4.1 oz.

XM-18 (3.5") - equipped with G10/Titanium liner - 5.6 oz.
XM-18 (3.5") - equipped with Hinderer Titanium Scales - ~6.4 oz.

XM-24 (4.0") - equipped with G10/Titanium liner - 7.8 oz.
XM-24 (4.0") - equipped with Hinderer Titanium Scales - ~8.7 oz.
XM-24 (4.0") - equipped with Titanium Frag Scales - ~8.9 oz.

This can mean only one thing.....................time to start beating up on RHK for some Ti/textured XM 24 scales.

I think the Frag scale you meant 7.9oz
Loving the pics so far, I'll try to join in a bit.
