Let's see your primary EDC Hinderer(s)...please.

Well I just received my first Hinderer yesterday morning (xm18 3.5" slicer flipper), and I am hooked. This will be in my pocket for a long time to come. I just ordered a blue frag scale for it since I don't really like the red (it also came with green that isn't my style either), but really want a CF or titanium one, if I can ever find one...

Welcome. Congratulations! You will find the accessories you seek. Get to know it and enjoy it. When you accessorize
it will be all new again.:)

Since you work with so many, what is your favorite scale, Modifiedz? CF, G-10, Ti, or other?

LOL, Carbon Fiber of course. I used to prefer smooth CF, but I'm really liking the textured CF not. It's gives you confidence that you favorite knife won't accidently slip out of your hand, or your friends hand that always asks to play with your Hinderer at work. I've gotten more inquiries on what type of material the handle is then smooth CF, they seem more impressed also.

I'm posting this photo just to contribute to the thread...Not to upset any looking for the scales they desire, I truly hope everyone eventually gets the pieces they want. I patiently wait, watch the HUH, etc. and get things when I'm able.

I agree that the textured C/F is a better grip, especially for a user. And I do think the smooth is prettier.

I'll Play....I find the 3" finds its way into my pocket more often than the other two.

Nice pic, that ones does a better job demonstrating the scale of the three sizes than any similar pic I can recall.

Its been in my pocket every day since Blade 2012. Love this knife. The picture is a little darker than real life but you get the idea. The blade still looks great but it needs to be sharpened something fierce. I just don't have the skill or tools to tackle it yet.

Ranch does re-sharpening:thumbup: Several Members here use: the SharpMaker, Sharpening Steel (found in most good kitchen knife sets), Wicked Edge ($$)

I have tried a couple of different options that never really panned out well for me. I will probably send it to the ranch for sharpening but I also hate to be a burden to those guys when they are so busy.

I'm sure they appreciate the courtesy and concern, they won't see it as a burden. Come back sharp as can be!

Maybe I'll send it in after SHOT. However, what am I gonna carry while its gone? Its my only XM.
