Federal or maybe a Badge shield I think. It started out as a Heritage Cattlemen so whatever type of shield those had. The shield goes way back as the Heritage knives were made to replicate old patterns from original Schatt & Morgan catalogs.

I couldn't access the nail nick on the Sheepsfoot blade without opening the Spear blade first. That didn't fly with me so Glennbad turned it into a single blade for me. I like it much better now and typing this makes me want to stick it in my pocket.

As irony would have it, Queen made a model just like my modified version while Glenn had my knife in his possession. I don't own one of those but it looks virtually identical to my modified single blade Cattleman.

What a timely thread resurrection!
I just received this today, my first Schatt & Morgan and also my first Doctor's knife. It's slimmer than I thought it would be, but I really like it. I'll be looking to get more, once the budget catches up...
