Let's see your Queen/Schatt & Morgan Knives

Oldmanrunning, what is this one? I like it.

It is quite beyond me why S&M are not more popular
There are plenty of older NIB knives around where the quality is stellar
And the prices are quite reasonable

Queen the quality is as good if not better to similarly priced knives
And when you step in to the Economy line the quality to price ratio is off the the scale

A couple of what Queen calls Mountain Man :)
A Red Stag (looks like carved bone to me) Queen Classic

Here is a beauty of mine that just landed from KnivesShipFree. I love the mammoth bark on this one and big bolsters, great knife!

Nice! I've been looking at those too. I have one of the four blade S&M signature congress knives from 2005 and it's a great knife. I can't seem to get myself to carry it though because four blades is a little much. Especially when two of them are duplicates.

These look very tempting. Nice score and beautiful knife!

Here are my Queenies....I've found that their D2 is a P.I.T.A to reprofile, but once thinned down to my liking, they are a joy to use, and seem to hold an edge forever! No S&M's for me yet, but I've been eyeing that #69 winterbottom barlow (spearpoint)!

Thanks! Funny you should mention the four blade model, I had seen it years ago and had decided to try and find one recently. My search led me to this particular one and when I saw it with that beautiful bark, I pounced :)

Anyway, it's interesting that you find the four blade a bit much. When this one arrived, I was a bit relieved I opted for the two blade model. It's even nicer in person. Annnnd now to find the next Schatt...
