Just picked up this Ulster BSA 5-blade. There used to be a great website called scoutknives.net but it is no longer there. Does anyone know where the data went?

No idea where the data went when that site shut down.
I do not recall how to access it, but there is (or was) a way to pull up the past version of any website, back to its first day and minute.
I know prosecuting and defence attorneys use it for evidence in some civil and criminal cases.

From what I was told concerning my white 4 blade Ulster, the white covers date them to c.1980.
The white covers were only used for 1 or two years. ... At least that is what I was told.

That is amazing. The writing is n the box is awesome. I have a little Utica Kutmaster Featherweight Girl Scout knife that has a little girl's name etched into the bolster by her own little hands. I don't know who she was but it's priceless. I gave it to my wife.
