Looks to have had little use over the last 98 plus years. (I know Challenge Cutlery closed with the death of its founder in 1928)
I read that Challenge was a high end cutlery company.
How does the quality compare to a NYKC/Hammer Brand (also a high end company) Scout knife that dates from 1911 to 1928, during the time they had the licence for the "official" BSA scout knife, and Challenge was in operation?

Any idea if pre-WW1/Concurrent WW1 or Post-WW1?

Thanks, all Challenge Cutlery I have had has been excellent quality. I would say on par with NYKC. Your dates are as close as I can come up with on when it was made.
