Schrade tried Stainless in the 1930s, before giving it up for a while;

My first stockman and a three-spring model, a Buck 703 Colt. I carried this a lot at one time and you can see that it shows a bit of wear. Note that the black paint has worn off the lettering on the shield. This has a 1989 date stamp and was bought new that year.

I could have sworn that it said these Catskill series Utica's were 1095. If it is it is the most stain resistant 1095 I have ever used.

You may see this photo in some other threads, and for that I apologise.

I decided to get a Navy Knife so I could have a stainless sheepfoot-ish GEC user, AND I had reward points to use at one of my favorite dealers. I'm actually very pleased with it. I've sliced through numerous blister packs with ease, and it was very handy for freeing my children from their bothersome amusement park admission bracelets. The bail....well...I don't love it, but it doesn't bother me at all when I'm using the knife...only when I'm coon fingering it.

I've been carrying this Mini Trapper ("Trappist" or "Traplifter") in place of my TC#14 during these super hot, super humid, often rained on days at work. When I first got it, I thought it a bit too large, but after a few days in the pocket, I'm really liking it a lot. It's got a wicked edge on it right now, too, which helps.

This Tru-Sharp Peanut is a constant companion.
