That's a real beauty Dean. Love the jigging.I just got this yesterday: Case XX 62024 1/2 (1958-1964)

I really like my Case knives. This one arrived this afternoon. Nothing fancy, but very functional. A large stockman in CV and yellow Delrin. The pull is pretty much perfect. Good walk and talk. No blade wobble.
I have to admit, as much as I love GEC, I really admire what Case does with some of the harder working knife patterns, such as their stockmans and trappers. They don’t try to be too elegant or use too much artistry. They design them for a good honest day’s work, at a pretty impressive level of fit and finish for the price. The steel may not be too hard or too fancy, but it’s nice and easy to touch up an edge at the end of long day. I admire that. Their yellow Delrin CV line really exemplifies these qualities, and I love the looks.

AND I don't usually have to order what I want because so many places (well, farm & ranch stores, hardware stores, etc.) carry them, and I can inspect them first. You took the words out of my mouth. Or a Stockman. Not the medium or the large, but the full size. 3 & 7/8" I think.I’d love to see a Case Trapper as the forum knife one year. 154cm Blades and some exotic covers would be awesome!
I’d be down for that as well.Or a Stockman. Not the medium or the large, but the full size. 3 & 7/8" I think.
