I find it amazing that no current manufacturer can truly replicate the old Case Redbone. Even Case cannot completely nail it today, although the latest Jigged Redbone Barlow seems to be close.

That old red bone is the greatest material to ever cover a pocket knife IMO. I have a Barlow in pocket now with a blade that's too short and used up, but I can't resist those covers!
 
Prester John Prester John how do you like that Carhartt Mini Trapper with single Wharncliffe blade, I just received one from another member here and I love it, I can see it becoming one of my favorites.
It's great. Lightweight and small enough to disappear in the pocket, but large enough for most tasks. Beautiful design. :thumbsup:
