Case Select Sowbelly from 1994. Cranberry Gold scales.

Headed for spa treatment to tighten it up, as I don't feel confident peening it and there's a few other things to cleanup that I'm too busy to do in the near future. It will be getting a sheepsfoot ground when it comes back.

I see a few Case Barlows in the thread. When did Case drop that popular pattern?

This is a good question. After you asked, I looked into it (for a few) and saw that the Barlow was discontinued, then they started making them again in 2006, and then discontinued them again, more recently. I wish I had more accurate years/better information on this; I look forward to others chiming in. I'm curious myself!

What a treasure! That is some pretty bone.

Thank you Sir. F/F and walk and talk are still like it was new. It and an old primble barlow that my father bought when he was 12 are my two most loved knives.

Had to snap a pic of the patina, as little justice it does with my ohone camera it is just magnificent. I'm loving this knife, thanks to Harald who I hope is enjoying his new Queen.

I did have to cut off one blade to make it more useful for me though.
