You are very welcome, Sir.Thanks, Don!!
That's what I thought also! I wonder why that marking instead of, say. . . . .05347?? They are not consistent in how they mark second cut Stag!!
But it still looks cool!! Even cut and burned this way!!View attachment 1524971
I don't SEE any CORAL!!Sea Coral?![]()

At least their inconsistencies are consistent.

That's a nice example. Mine was not only my first case but also my first traditional when I was getting back into them. Love the patina on it.
I believe that knife is second cut bone. I have the same knife. I like the size, and like whittlers. That whittler on a stockman frame is fairly hard to find.So can one of you Case-meisters tell me what this handle material is, on this stockman/whittler??

Question... Is the Rough Black handle thick like the smooth Delrin models, or thin like the jigged bone models?
Very cool, the “father and son” gifting make those knives beyond special! My old and new Sodbuster Jr. knives. I got the top one from my Dad 50 years ago and I bought the bottom one yesterday using a gift card from my son. I am really happy with this new one. I have a lot of Case knives and this one is very well made. A nod to GT @5K Qs as it was his recent photo of the same knife that inspired me to buy it.
